Ms Sujata Sudarshan

CEO, Overseas Indian Facilitation Centre & Director, Confederation of Indian Industry

Sujata Sudarshan is the CEO of the Overseas Indian Facilitation Centre (OIFC), a not-for-profit Public-Private-Partnership between the Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs and Confederation of Indian Industry.

Set up in May 2007, the OIFC has a five point mandate : Promote investments into India by Overseas Indians and facilitate business partnerships, Maintain a Diaspora Knowledge Network, Provide a host of advisory services to Non-Resident Indians, Assist Indian States to project their investment opportunities and Function as a Clearing House for all Investment related information.

In her capacity as CEO, OIFC, her responsibilities include achievement of the OIFC’s mandate through various activities, brand building and ensuring growth and sustainability.She has been engaged with CII since 2006 and in her capacity as Director, was responsible in organizing trade fairs in the sectors of Defence, Aerospace, Hospitality, Space Technology, Automotive, Home Textiles etc. With an experience of seventeen years she was involved right from concept, strategizing, marketing, brand building to implementation and operations.
